We had such a great experience. The waiters were VERY knowledgeable about both the food and the wine. They were really accommodating considering one of us had a cheese intolerance. They also offered a pretty romantic wine pairing : you can have one glass for two people (you can also have both your glasses, of course). The food was original and the flavours were well researched and eloquent. They had fresh truffle which we had for a small extra. The extra was worth it. We had the tasting menu which consists of 7 courses along with the pairing (5 glasses of wine). All of the courses are a surprise. I mean, a real surprise : you don't know what's coming until you're presented with the plate. This was an amazing show.Overall, I'd recommend Toqué to anyone who's looking for an outstanding culinary experience, and who has half a K to spend on a night they won't forget.

An exceptionally excellent meal!The service was fantastic, the atmosphere subtle and superb.The food and wine were well presented and the pairings outstanding.This is an expensive meal, and the experience is sublime.You have to be a foodie to really appreciate the experience.If you have high expectations, they will likely be met or exceeded.

One of the top restaurants in Canada and definitely earns that ranking. The tasting menu was fun and the service was incredible. They have the level of expertise you’d expect at a world class restaurant.

So $1500 later (dinner for 4) I am underwhelmed. It was staged as a Valentine taster menu (even though it was the 15th of Feb.!) and I could not have been more disappointed. Like so many of us I have read about Toque for years and this was my first visit. It will be my last. There are so many great restaurants in this city...this one so, so disappointing. I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am. The service is excellent btw....it's the kitchen that disappoints!

Pad sew suculant.. Cheap and the food is excellent . Doesn't have the same cooking style as the Thai express with real Thai people but same ingredients. am a big fan of Thai food. What a disappointment I had when I tried this restaurant. The imperial rolls consisted of 80% fat frying. General Tao was more worthy of Colonel Sanders.

This place was wonderful in terms of their service. It was beyond expectations. They were extremely accommodating with our dietary - restriction (vegan and onion & garlic free), but for 150 dollar Food Tasting, I was expecting a bit more variety in terms dishes. The 7 dishes served was very tasteful and visual appealing.

I think that it would be difficult to go wrong with this restaurant. If you're looking for an enjoyable dining experience, then this is the place for you. You have your choice of ordering individual menu items like any traditional restaurant, or you can go with the discovery selection where the restaurant chooses for you and will match wine pairings with each dish.

This meal was one of the best we've had in terms of food quality, presentation, taste. And incredible service and staff that did not hesitate when we asked if we could see the wine cellar. A wonderful evening all around. There is the reason they are a top restaurant in Canada

I've been wanting to try Toque for a while and it was worth the wait! Great for a romantic date or intimate night with friends. We went for the Menu de Jeunesse (5 courses and 3 glasses of wine). All the food was well executed and well thought out. Flavours and wine pairings were perfect, presentation beautiful. The only negative I have to say is I wish they would have used the bread crumb cleaner in between each course, but that's really a small aspect.
